I bought my self a 2018 diary at the start of the year to get myself more organised, I didn’t want just a basic sort of diary I wanted one which had lots of features which would allow me to keep myself organised.
- note section
- contacts/ address
- mood tracker
- a spread of the month
- a break down of the weeks in the month
- meal plan
- shopping list
- goals of the week
- to do list
- savings goal
I find myself using the mood tracker, I find recording my moods really helpful as I do have anxiety. I try to use my diary everyday just to jot down appointments and event etc…
another thing ive been loving is reading, either in the bath or right before bed, just helps me relax. at the moment ive started reading looking for Alaska which is going great. before i started this book i was readying holding up the universe by Jennifer Niven
I’ve also really started getting in to my skin care, I’ve been noticing that if I miss a day of doing my skin care routine then my skin will start to become extremely dry but also oily and ill start to break out in spots all over my cheeks and forehead, which they’re really difficult to cover with make up. I do always use Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser but I literally used the last pump of it today and I’ve just ordered another one along with the oily to combination face cream. I’ve been using products with hyaluronic acid, glycolic acid and glycerine. these are all good acids that help with acne. I also use the Mario Badesu drying lotion, I will just place them on to a spot that’s brewing or on a fully formed spot and by the next day it’s completely flat. I have been tying to update my makeup, ive been loving really warm eye shadow looks. from my morphe pallet i’ll use the shade natural all over my lid, a mix between editor and define in the crease and then a bleach London single high pigment pressed powder eyeshadow in the shade louder powder all over my lid. After such a long time, I’m wanting to get back in to the blogging world. I guess my life got extremely busy and therefore haven’t had the time to sit down and have that time to sit and type up any posts.
I will be making posts about makeup, fashion bits here and there and just general ”What I’ve been up to” posts. I’ve been trying to update my make up bag and skin care so this means I have been making a few purchases on Beauty Bay.
Really cant wait to be finally getting back into things as I used to really enjoy it. I also cant wait to be sharing some new thing with you and supporting other fellow blogger.

My favourite part of visiting these two photographers was walking around seeing Alec sloths photographs as i personally prefer his photography.
- Alec Soth moved back to Minnesota.
His first job was assisting a commercial photographer and he decide that it was not the route he wanted.
He was nervous to become a photographer because he didn’t want to do wedding or something like that.
He got a job in a darkroom at an art museum he like the job he work there most of the time.
- Soth studied at Sarah Lawrence College in New York.
- He traveled around Mississippi river and made a self printed book called ‘Sleeping by the Mississippi’ which had both landscape and portraits.
- Alec Soth looks at other great photographers work and puts his own twist on it when he takes his own photos. He has his own business called little brown mushroom.
